Turbo Turtle by SlamminInky

Format: Commander

Commander: Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Gruul extra-combat aggro deck built around Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers, a 7/7 trample-haste commander whose attack trigger reveals cards until it finds a creature and puts it onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The strategy pairs the commander with twelve extra-combat effects - Aggravated Assault, Relentless Assault, Seize the Day, Port Razer, and others - to chain multiple combats in a single turn, each one re-firing the commander's trigger and the cheated creatures' damage triggers. Old Gnawbone converts combat damage into Treasures that pay for further combats, while Blightsteel Colossus one-shots players with infect. Fast ritual mana (Seething Song, Irencrag Feat, Jeska's Will) accelerates the expensive commander out early. The deck wins through overwhelming combat - commander-triggered hasty beatdown, Blightsteel infect, or Chandra's Ignition on a giant creature to clear the table.
