Deck overview

This Golgari Aristocrats deck is led by Slimefoot, the Stowaway, leveraging Saproling token generation and death triggers to drain the table while maintaining life totals. The deck ramps efficiently in the early turns with low-cost ramp spells and mana dorks, assembling Slimefoot and an initial token generator by Turn 4. Through engines like Skullclamp, Moldervine Reclamation, and Keen Sense, the deck converts disposable tokens into substantial card advantage. By Turn 6, the deck establishes an overwhelming board presence of Saprolings backed by drain enablers like Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, or creature suppression via Dictate of Erebos. The plan closes on Turn 7 through mass sacrifice loops, Gruesome Fate, or a Craterhoof Behemoth overrun. While resilient to destroy-based board wipes due to instant-speed death triggers and regeneration effects like Golgari Charm, the deck lacks stack countermagic and relies on natural draws rather than tutors to find key noncreature finishers.
