Deck overview

This Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain deck is helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, leveraging creature ETB triggers to gain life, then converting that life into +1/+1 counters, token generation, and eventual overrun-style victories. The primary win conditions are accumulating a massive life total to fuel Aetherflux Reservoir or Storm Herd for a wide flying swarm, while secondary paths include combat damage from huge trampling tokens (Blossoming Bogbeast, Ghalta and Mavren) and the Phyrexian Processor token generator. The deck's engine revolves around lifegain payoffs like Archangel of Thune, Crested Sunmare, and Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, supported by populate effects from Growing Ranks, Song of the Worldsoul, and Rhys the Redeemed. It is a grindier midrange build that aims to out-value opponents through incremental life and board advantage, lacking fast combo or aggressive acceleration.
