Deck overview

This mono-black reanimator deck uses Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist to turn early graveyard setup into heavy board pressure. The primary strategy focuses on filling the graveyard during the opening turns using self-mill cards like Stitcher's Supplier and Ripples of Undeath, or discard outlets such as Olivia's Dragoon. Once a high-power creature enters the graveyard, casting Xu-Ifit on Turn 3 enables a Turn 4 reanimation activation. Although Xu-Ifit removes all abilities from the reanimated creature, massive bodies like Gloom Sower and Tyrannical Pitlord present rapid combat clocks against opponents lacking early blockers. Backup reanimation spells such as Rise Again and Edgar's Awakening allow high-impact creatures to retain their abilities if cast from hand. The deck includes efficient removal like Infernal Grasp and Withering Torment to clear opposing blockers and threats, though it remains vulnerable to graveyard exile and multi-target board wipes.
