Deck overview

This competitive Izzet storm deck leverages Vivi Ornitier as a high-velocity damage engine and mana source. By enchanting Vivi with a Curiosity effect, every noncreature spell cast deals 1 damage to each opponent and draws three cards. This immediately starts a deterministic chain through 0-mana artifacts, rituals, and free spells that burns the entire table out on Turn 2 or Turn 3. The deck protects its combo turn with free counterspells like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, alongside creatures like Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun that grant split second to all instants and sorceries. If the commander line is interrupted, the list transitions into compact backup win conditions including Underworld Breach with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond, or an infinite mana loop using Quicksilver Elemental to copy Vivi's activated mana ability. The result is a fast, highly resilient competitive combo deck.
