🌊Hakbal of the Surging Soul- Fighting Fish🐡 by theseguys5

Format: Commander

Commander: Hakbal of the Surging Soul

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Hakbal of the Surging Soul helms a fast-paced Simic Merfolk tribal deck that combines aggressive board development, continuous card advantage, and potent combo lines. Hakbal drives the engine by turning every combat step into a mass explore trigger, filtering draws, ramping lands directly onto the battlefield, and steadily growing your creatures. The deck overwhelms opponents by converting accumulated counters into lethal unblockable damage using Herald of Secret Streams and Lord of Atlantis. Alternatively, it can pivot into game-ending synergy loops with Intruder Alarm, Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca, and Deeproot Pilgrimage to tap, draw, and create infinite Merfolk tokens.
