The Master at 50 Take 3 by GulliasTurtle

Format: Commander

Commander: The Master, Formed Anew

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a blue-black enter-the-battlefield reanimator built around The Master, Formed Anew. The primary plan is to put Gray Merchant of Asphodel on the battlefield, exile it with The Master so he becomes a copy, then repeatedly bounce and recast the commander to trigger the drain multiple times each turn. Secondary paths use graveyard tutors and reanimation to cheat Desolation Twin or Dread Cacodemon into play for quick board domination and combat damage. Candlekeep Sage turns every commander entry and departure into card draw. Azula and Kang act as supplementary threats rather than true hidden commanders. The build focuses on incremental value loops, with bounce outlets and recursion as the main accelerants.
