Deck overview

Iroh, Tea Master pilots a donate-and-scale strategy. Each combat step, Iroh gives away a permanent you own to an opponent, then creates a growing Ally token whose +1/+1 counters equal the number of permanents you own that opponents control. The deck pairs this with a heavy 'threaten' suite-Act of Treason, Mass Mutiny, and Insurrection-to either steal the board or finish with a giant token alpha strike. Additional donation outlets like Stiltzkin, Discerning Financier, and Yes Man convert gifts into cards and Treasures, while Zidane and Treasure Nabber reward every donation. Boros Charm and Everybody Lives! protect the key pieces. Without Iroh, the scaling mechanic fails, but the theft effects and recursion via Return the Past still provide alternate paths.
