Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress strategy commanded by Scriv, the Obligator that blends Goad mechanics, pillowfort protection, and asymmetric lifedrain. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost cost reducers and enchantress draw engines on turns 2 and 3, followed by Scriv or Eriette of the Charmed Apple on turn 4. By enchanting opposing creatures with Contract tokens and Impetus Auras, the deck shields itself from incoming attacks while forcing opponents into devastating combat against each other. Meanwhile, passive drain effects, flying Inkling tokens, and tall commander attacks systematically whittle away opposing life totals. The list features strong asymmetric interaction like Winds of Rath and Promise of Loyalty, resilient recursion like Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish, and a compact infinite drain combo with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose to close late games decisively.
