Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, who functions as a counter-mover and a combat-triggered draw engine. The game plan is to develop a wide board of counter-carrying creatures, stack counters onto a few key threats, and convert that mass into combat wins via Chocobo Knights (double strike), Blitzball Stadium (unblockable + draw), and Sphere Grid (trample/reach). The deck leans heavily on proliferate density - Grateful Apparition, Inexorable Tide, Lulu, Stern Guardian, and Tidus's own Cheer trigger - to compound counter totals each turn. Secondary lines include Walking Ballista as a counter outlet, Sin, Unending Cataclysm as a flying finisher, and a Final Fantasy X legendary subtheme (Yuna, Grand Summoner, Wakka, Devoted Guardian, Kimahri, Valiant Guardian) that generates incremental advantage. It is a classic midrange value deck: no fast combo, but strong inevitability once the counter engine is online.
