Deck overview

This Grixis aggro-tempo deck harnesses the synergy between cheap unblockable attackers, the ninjutsu mechanic, and Goro-Goro and Satoru to rapidly produce an army of 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens. In the early game, the deck curves out with low-cost evasive creatures like Changeling Outcast and Slither Blade, enabling Turn 3 commander deployment and Turn 4 ninjutsu combat connections. Because ninjutsu creatures enter the battlefield attacking that turn, they immediately trigger Goro-Goro and Satoru upon dealing combat damage, generating massive aerial threats while drawing cards through Ingenious Infiltrator and Coastal Piracy. The deck backs up this aggressive tempo clock with efficient countermagic, flexible removal, and extra combat phases from World at War to close out the game by Turn 7. If disrupted, alternate payoff engines such as Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow and Shredder, Shadow Master maintain high table pressure independently of the commander.
