Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Derevi, Empyrial Tactician to helm a synergy-driven midrange strategy centered on Spacecraft, counters, and tap/untap mechanics. The game plan focuses on deploying utility creatures and Spacecraft early, using creatures to Station charge counters onto vessels like Synthesizer Labship, Wedgelight Rammer, and Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought. Derevi provides steady tempo by untapping lands or key permanents whenever creatures connect in combat. Proliferate engines such as Evolution Sage, Flux Channeler, and Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres accelerate charge counters and +1/+1 counters across the board. The deck wins by taking to the skies with high-power animated Spacecraft, backed by counter doublers like Innkeeper's Talent and lethal combat pressure from Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought and Virulent Silencer. While vulnerable to mass artifact and creature sweepers, Derevi's tax-free activated ability ensures rapid rebuilding.
