Commander: Octavia, Living Thesis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Octavia, Living Thesis is a mono-blue spells-matter deck built around filling the graveyard with instants and sorceries to cast its commander for {U}{U}. The primary plan is to deploy an unblockable infect threat such as Blighted Agent or Inkmoth Nexus, then use Octavia's magecraft to make it an 8/8 and close with poison over two attacks. Secondary paths use Talrand, Sky Summoner, Hermes, or Stormchaser's Talent to create flying tokens and turn them into 8/8 attackers in one alpha strike, or Candlekeep Inspiration to mass-pump the board. The commander is the engine and finisher; the deck is a tempo-combo hybrid that protects its pieces with counterspells and bounce.
