Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is a midrange control-and-drain deck. The primary plan is to cast noncreature spells, using Y'shtola's trigger for card draw and chip damage while Papalymo and Hermes add extra pings and token support. The cleanest finish is the Bloodthirsty Conqueror loop: pair Conqueror with Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity (or a one-life drainer), then start the gain/loss loop with a Y'shtola/Papalymo trigger or Exsanguinate. Tutors find the missing piece, Teferi and counters protect the winning turn, and Propaganda, No Mercy, and Inkshield buy time. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Y'shtola's trigger, with Papalymo and Hermes as secondary engines.
