Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a Golgari poison-control build whose primary plan is to stack 10 poison counters on each opponent through deathtouch combat (driven by Fynn, the Fangbearer as a hidden commander) and toxic/infect threats. The Serpent Society acts as a removal engine: every deathtouch creature that dies forces an opponent to sacrifice, creating a midrange attrition game. Secondary paths are a compact Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + Blood Artist loop, proliferation packages, and Triumph of the Hordes as a mass-infect finisher. The commander's ward tax also punishes targeting with five poison counters, subtly deterring removal.
