Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats Combo deck commanded by Gev, Scaled Scorch. The primary strategy exploits the rules interaction between persist and Gev's static ability: when an opponent has lost life, creatures enter with a +1/+1 counter, which cancels out the -1/-1 counter from persist as a state-based action. Combined with a free sacrifice outlet like Goblin Bombardment, Carrion Feeder, or Viscera Seer, creatures such as Putrid Goblin, Lesser Masticore, and Murderous Redcap can be sacrificed and returned infinitely. The deck supports this game plan with efficient sacrifice-based card draw, dense low-cost removal, and heavy board sweepers to manage the table until the win condition is ready. While the list lacks stack protection and high-density tutors, its strong redundancy across persist creatures and damage payoffs allows it to assemble a reliable, instant-speed kill by Turn 5.
