Gev, Lucertola Matta by user7666115

Format: Commander

Commander: Gev, Scaled Scorch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck centers on Gev, Scaled Scorch to run an aggressive aristocrats burn plan that effortlessly pivots into infinite persist combos. Gev places +1/+1 counters on entering creatures whenever opponents lose life, which naturally counters the -1/-1 counters placed by persist. By deploying repeatable pingers alongside persist creatures like Murderous Redcap or Putrid Goblin and a free sacrifice outlet such as Goblin Bombardment or Phyrexian Altar, you generate infinite enter-the-battlefield and death triggers to quickly drain the table. Secondary paths include token swarm with Impact Tremors and burn amplification via Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might.
