Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Voltron and Modified synergy build commanded by Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain. The strategy revolves around stacking Auras, Equipment, and +1/+1 counters onto creatures and exploiting Arna's combat trigger. Whenever a modified creature attacks, Arna doubles its counters and creates token copies of all attached nontoken permanents. This causes exponential stat growth with cards like All That Glitters, Nettlecyst, and Thran Power Suit, rapidly turning attackers into lethal, evasive threats with lifelink and flying. Card advantage is maintained through enchantress and equipment-draw engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, and Phyrexian Arena. The deck defends its board with Robe of Stars, Swiftfoot Boots, and counterspells, while using Stonehewer Giant and Danitha, Benalia's Hope as resilient backup beatdown plans.
