Commander: Arthur, Marigold Knight

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai combat deck is helmed by Arthur, Marigold Knight, a hasty commander that generates immediate value by putting a creature from the top six cards onto the battlefield tapped and attacking each time Arthur and another creature attack. The deck's primary strategy is to chain extra combat steps using cards like Aurelia, the Warleader, Combat Celebrant, Port Razer, and Aggravated Assault, while leveraging a flicker subtheme (Ephemerate, Ghostly Flicker, Brago, King Eternal) to reuse ETB triggers for card draw, ramp, and board advantage. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, often finishing with Moonshaker Cavalry to pump the team or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to double damage. It lacks traditional infinite combos but relies on redundancy in extra combat effects and recursion to grind out value.
