Rads by Lorq

Format: Commander

Commander: The Wise Mothman

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Sultai deck, led by The Wise Mothman, is a synergy-fueled strategy that weaponizes rad counters and mass milling to fuel a +1/+1 counter army. The commander's ETB and attack triggers give every player a rad counter, and whenever nonland cards are milled-through rad upkeep triggers, spells like Dread Summons, or combat-creatures you control receive a +1/+1 counter per milled card. A deep proliferate suite (Inexorable Tide, Agent Frank Horrigan, Contagion Clasp and others) rapidly escalates both rad counters and +1/+1 counters, turning small Mutants into genuine threats. The plan closes via combat with enormous creatures such as Lumbering Megasloth, Lily Bowen, Raging Grandma or Strong, the Brutish Thespian, often backed by counter doublers like Corpsejack Menace and Hardened Scales]. The deck has no infinite combos-it wins through gradual but explosive battlefield presence.
