Deck overview

This mono-black deck is an Aristocrats Midrange strategy commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The deck aims to generate recursive creature tokens, sacrifice them for card draw and mana velocity, and convert creature deaths into steady life drain. On Turn 4 to 5, the deck rapidly reaches four death triggers in a single turn to transform Sephiroth, acquiring a permanent Super Nova emblem that turns every future creature death into direct table-wide life loss and life gain. Backed by asymmetric stax pieces like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos, the pilot locks opponents out of creature combat while assembling a lethal board. Game-ending pressure is achieved through flying commander damage, massive Torment of Hailfire casts fueled by Cabal Coffers and Warren Soultrader, or the instant-win combination of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond.
