Combat x2 by andisir

Format: Commander

Commander: Aurelia, the Warleader

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Built around Aurelia, the Warleader, this Boros deck aims to chain extra combat phases. The primary path is combat damage: cast Aurelia or an extra-combat dragon such as Hellkite Charger or Scourge of the Throne, back them with Sword of Feast and Famine to untap lands, and use damage doublers to convert two swings into lethal damage. A secondary plan leans on an indestructible board under Avacyn, Angel of Hope, with Boros Charm, Basri Ket, and planeswalkers to survive wipes; a fallback combo uses Boros Reckoner and Fiendlash with Avacyn and Boros Charm to machine-gun any target. There is no double-faced commander; Valakut Awakening's land side is used for fixing only. The deck is explosive but light on lands and card draw, so games are swingy.
