Deck overview

Chief of the Wilds leads a Wolf tribal go-wide deck that doubles Wolf and battle triggers to grow a large board and a tall commander. The primary plan is to deploy Chief early, then flood the board with 2/2 Wolf tokens from Master of the Wild Hunt, Hollowhenge Overlord, Ferocious Pup and similar generators, doubling tokens with Doubling Season and counters with Chief and Roaming Throne. Secondary paths use anthem finishers like Beastmaster Ascension, Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth, or the Garruk emblem, to turn the wide board lethal. Chief is both anthem and trigger doubler; Roaming Throne and Doubling Season act as hidden commanders that replicate his effect.
