Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Azorius combo-control list commanded by Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Candlekeep Sage. The strategy revolves around deploying cheap mana rocks and Candlekeep Sage early, followed by Abdel Adrian to exile your board, create a legion of 1/1 Soldier tokens, and draw cards. By flickering Abdel Adrian with 1-mana instant spells like Ephemerate or permanents like Soulherder, the deck repeatedly untaps its mana rocks and draws multiple cards per cycle. The deck converts this immense card velocity into game-ending infinite loops using Deadeye Navigator, Peregrine Drake, Eldrazi Displacer, or Archaeomancer paired with Ghostly Flicker. Once infinite mana and flickers are achieved, the deck wins immediately by milling the table with Altar of the Brood, draining with Hierophant's Chalice, or bouncing all opposing nonlands with Aether Channeler while backed by dense, efficient countermagic.
