Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dinosaur Tribal Midrange list led by partner commanders Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer and Blue, Loyal Raptor. The primary game plan establishes an early keyword engine by using Owen to place haste, trample, menace, or reach counters onto Blue. Because Blue grants copies of each counter on itself to every other Dinosaur that enters the battlefield under your control, your large Dinosaurs enter ready to attack immediately with evasion. The deck accelerates into these threats using efficient mana rocks and tribal cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Hunting Velociraptor. Card flow is sustained through combat triggers from Curious Altisaur and entry triggers from Temur Ascendancy and The Great Henge. Protection spells such as Heroic Intervention and counterspells like Deflecting Swat shield your board against opposing wipes while you close the game through massive combat damage.
