Deck overview

This Naya Voltron deck is commanded by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, designed to assemble heavy Equipment early and capitalize on Cloud's immediate haste and auto-attach ability. By utilizing premier tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift, the deck consistently pairs Cloud with game-warping armaments such as Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, or The Reaver Cleaver. Upon entering on Turn 4, Cloud instantly equips, swings, draws cards, and produces Treasure tokens to fuel subsequent turns. Force-multiplier creatures like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Tifa, Martial Artist convert single-target commander damage into table-wide lethality. The deck protects its primary investment through robust defensive options like Deflecting Swat, Teferi's Protection, and Conqueror's Flail. While vulnerable to continuous commander removal and mass artifact destruction, its high velocity and free equip triggers enable rapid clock execution.
