New Untitled Deck by poriomania

Format: Commander

Commander: Hakbal of the Surging Soul

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hakbal of the Surging Soul drives a Simic Merfolk tribal deck that wins by going wide and attacking. At the start of combat each Merfolk explores, growing with +1/+1 counters or finding lands, while Hakbal's attack trigger ramps or draws. Lords such as Lord of Atlantis, Master of the Pearl Trident and Merfolk Mistbinder stack anthems, and Deeproot Waters, Deeproot Pilgrimage and Emperor Mihail II flood the board with hexproof tokens and top-deck casting. Kumena and Emperor Mihail act as hidden commanders for card advantage. The secondary win is infinite turns with Deeproot Pilgrimage plus Wanderwine Prophets, sacrificing a fresh token each combat to take another turn.
