Tetsuko and vaccined friends by Hidewrath

Format: Commander

Commander: Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-blue deck leans entirely on Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive to turn a swarm of tiny creatures into unblockable damage dealers. Every creature with power or toughness 1 or less-and the deck runs many of them-can connect without opposition once Tetsuko is on the battlefield. The primary game plan is to deploy Tetsuko early, play small evasive bodies, then repeatedly trigger "deals combat damage to a player" effects: drawing cards (Curiosity, Bident of Thassa), bouncing permanents (Cephalid Constable, Mistblade Shinobi), milling (Raven Guild Master), or halving life totals (Scytheclaw, Quietus Spike). There are no infinite combos; wins come through incremental chip damage accelerated by life-halving equipment. A modest control suite of bounce wipes, a few counterspells, and deterrents like Propaganda helps the deck survive while it grinds out the table.
