Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is centered on Gev, Scaled Scorch leading an aggressive Lizard kindred and group-slug strategy. The deck seeks to continuously inflict noncombat damage to each opponent every turn using cheap burn spells, landfall triggers, and incidental attack pings. This enables Gev's ability to enter incoming Lizards with up to three +1/+1 counters each, turning low-cost utility creatures into substantial beatsticks. Win conditions combine aggressive combat damage, amplified by Valley Flamecaller and Collective Inferno, with persistent table-wide drain from Agate Instigator and Impact Tremors. Interaction is centered on flexible Rakdos removal to clear blockers and eliminate priority threats.
