Deck overview

Heroes in a Half Shell is a five-color +1/+1 counter and token combat deck. The commander is both a haste beater and a draw engine: getting a Mutant, Ninja, or Turtle through combat adds counters and refuels the hand repeatedly. The primary plan is to deploy early ramp, cast Heroes quickly, then build a wide and tall board with Krenko, Doubling Season, Anointed Procession, Hardened Scales, and the partner Turtles as support. A secondary plan is a goblin token swarm finished by Coat of Arms or a doubled-damage swing from Raphael. No hidden commander is required; the Partner-Character Turtles in the 99 are enablers, not a second command zone identity.
