Deck overview

This Golgari Food/Squirrel token deck, helmed by Ygra, Eater of All, aims to bury opponents under an avalanche of Food and Squirrel tokens before converting that mass into a lethal swing. The core loop is simple: generate tokens with Gilded Goose, Tireless Provisioner, Peregrin Took, and Academy Manufactor, multiply them with Chatterfang, Squirrel General, then sacrifice Foods to grow Ygra into a towering threat. The primary finisher is Triumph of the Hordes, turning a wide board into an infect kill, backed by a massive trampling Ygra or Rottenmouth Viper drain. Secondary lines include infinite token/mana loops through Hazel of the Rootbloom and Chatterfang, and Hazel's Brewmaster stealing key abilities from opposing graveyards. The deck is a classic value engine: slow to assemble, but explosive once the token multipliers land.
