Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Hydra tribal strategy led by Gargos, Vicious Watcher. The game plan accelerates mana in the opening turns using efficient land search and mana dorks to deploy Gargos ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Gargos reduces the cost of all Hydra spells by {4}, allowing massive X-cost creatures to enter for minimal mana investment. Gargos also turns any spell targeting a friendly creature into an immediate fight trigger, clearing opposing blockers and threats. The deck converts high creature power into massive card advantage using draw spells scaled to power, then closes the game on Turns 6-7 using trample enablers and damage multipliers like Unnatural Growth, Overwhelming Stampede, and Kalonian Hydra.
