Deck overview

This Wort, the Raidmother deck is a Gruul spellslinger and storm combo deck focused on generating massive mana and duplicating explosive spells. The early game focuses on ramping basic lands and developing small token producers. By Turn 5, Wort enters the battlefield alongside two Goblin Warrior tokens, immediately setting up the conspire engine. Once untapping on Turn 6, the deck taps its creatures to double high-yield rituals like Battle Hymn and Mana Geyser, drawing through the library with doubled card draw spells such as Shamanic Revelation and Escape to the Wilds. The game closes in a single decisive turn by channeling overwhelming mana into lethal X-damage burn spells like Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, or an infinite Reiterate loop. The deck boasts immense mana velocity and card advantage, but it lacks dedicated defensive interaction, nonland tutors, and protective spells, making it vulnerable to early creature removal and board sweepers.
