Deck overview

This is a Bant Bird tribal deck helmed by Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, built around a go-wide flying beatdown plan supercharged by a landfall/untap engine. Derevi's combat-damage trigger untaps lands and creatures, which fuels landfall payoffs like Choco, Seeker of Paradise, Sazh's Chocobo, and Traveling Chocobo - the latter doubling all land/Bird ETB triggers. Kastral, the Windcrested provides reanimation, +1/+1 counters, and card draw off Bird combat damage, while Murmuration and Empyrean Eagle build the flying army. The primary win condition is combat damage from a critical mass of Birds, supported by planeswalkers Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Huatli, Radiant Champion. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through incremental value and tribal inevitability.
