Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and group-slug build centered on Olinda the Oblivious. The primary strategy focuses on distributing permanent odor counters across opposing creatures upon Olinda's entry and attacks. By utilizing symmetrical token generators such as Slaughter Specialist and Genesis Chamber, the deck ensures valid targets exist across all opponents. Once odor counters are placed, they continue to drain 2 life per upkeep even if Olinda leaves the battlefield. The deck accelerates this clock using unblockable equipment, proliferate engines, and lethal end-step multipliers like Wound Reflection, Archfiend of Despair, and Warlock Class. Supplementary threats such as Tree of Perdition and Unstoppable Slasher provide rapid burst kills against high-life targets. While the deck boasts resilient continuous drain and strong single-target commander protection, it relies heavily on sorcery-speed interaction and is vulnerable to opposing creature sweepers that clear odor-carrying permanents.
