Deck overview

This Azorius deck leverages 26 copies of Tempest Hawk to build an evasive, wide flying assault led by Kastral, the Windcrested. In the opening turns, the deck deploys early mana acceleration and chains Tempest Hawks, using their combat damage ability to search additional copies directly into hand. By turn 5, Kastral, the Windcrested enters the battlefield to immediately boost the flock with +1/+1 counters, draw cards, or recur fallen Birds. Powerful tribal payoffs such as Mirror Box, Banner of Kinship, and Thrumming Stone scale the flock into lethal threats that can eliminate opponents in short order. While the deck lacks proactive resource denial, it shields its board with efficient protective instants like Dawn's Truce and Cosmic Intervention, ensuring its aggressive flying clock stays on track.
