Zuko by cp1e

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Zuko

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Zuko is an exile-synergy combat commander who converts every card cast from exile into +1/+1 counters and uses his firebending ability to turn a tall commander into combat-phase red mana. The deck's primary plan is to deploy exile cantrips and evasive hasty threats, grow Zuko, then chain extra combat phases with Aggravated Assault, Hellkite Charger, Aurelia, or Karlach. Neheb and Avatar Roku provide the mana engine to make those extra combats repeatable. A hidden secondary engine is Avatar Roku, Firebender, who acts as a six-red mana source each attack. The deck can also win through Dragonhawk/Valakut exile damage and Sunforger toolbox lines, but most kills come from repeated combat steps.
