Deck overview

This Azorius deck focuses on Rex, Cyber-Hound, using energy generation, self-mill, and ability copying to assemble game-ending combos. Rex deals combat damage to mill cards and accumulate energy, which it spends to exile creature cards from any graveyard with brain counters. Rex then gains all activated abilities of those exiled cards. The deck's primary victory condition combines the mana-generating tap ability of Palladium Myr with the untap ability of Pili-Pala to create infinite mana, which it funnels into Walking Ballista to eliminate the entire table in a single turn. Marvin, Murderous Mimic acts as a redundant engine centerpiece by borrowing abilities from creatures on your board. A supportive interaction package of cheap counterspells, efficient removal, and board sweepers controls the tempo of the game, while protective equipment and brain counter persistence ensure the deck recovers smoothly from creature removal.
