Commander: Spider-Man 2099

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet "cast-from-exile" midrange deck helmed by Spider-Man 2099. The plan is to flood the board with impulse engines-Eruth, Tormented Prophet, Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Professional Face-Breaker, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, Fortune Teller's Talent-then convert every non-hand cast into tokens (The Lost and the Damned), pings (Shadow of the Goblin, the commander's end-step trigger), copied spells (Spider-Verse), and growing beaters (Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Laelia, the Blade Reforged). Primary wins are combat: double-striking commander damage, Ghost-Spider, Gwen Stacy alpha strikes, and paradox burn. There are no infinite combos; the deck closes through incremental exile value and a wide, evasive board. The commander cannot be cast until turn four, so the 99 must (and does) function on its own engines.
