Deck overview

This Rakdos burn deck leverages Florian, Voldaren Scion alongside 20 copies of Dragon's Approach to create a relentless spellslinger engine. Casting a single Approach deals 3 damage to each opponent, causing 9 total life loss that enables Florian to dig 9 cards deep in the postcombat main phase. As Approaches accumulate in the graveyard, their secondary ability tutors high-impact Dragons like Twinflame Tyrant, Red Dragon, or Bladewing the Risen directly onto the battlefield. Mana velocity pieces like Birgi, God of Storytelling // Harnfel, Horn of Bounty, Storm-Kiln Artist, and cost reducers allow multiple spells per turn, while damage multipliers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and Wound Reflection accelerate the clock to eliminate the table by Turn 7. The list focuses heavily on linear proactive burn, accepting minimal reactive interaction in exchange for extreme spell density and deep card selection.
