Deck overview

Jon Irenicus, Shattered One is a 'bad gifts' commander. The deck's primary plan is to cast Jon, deploy creatures with severe drawbacks, donate one per end step, and let goaded attackers force opponents to fight each other while Jon draws cards. Secondary paths use infect creatures for poison kills, Coveted Falcon and Homeward Path to reclaim permanents, and Archfiend of the Dross plus Heartless Act to eliminate a single player. Reins of Power can steal a final opponent's board. Jon has only one face, and the deck is built entirely around his end-step donation and draw trigger; there is no hidden commander. Without Jon, most drawback creatures are unplayable, so the deck is highly commander-dependent.
