Deck overview

This Jund deck is commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch and revolves around a dedicated -1/-1 counter and attrition engine. The deck utilizes dense low-mana ramp to deploy Auntie Ool early, turning every placed counter into either card draw or opponent life loss. Supported by powerhouse synergy pieces such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Generous Patron, the deck floods the board with deathtouch snakes and insect tokens while drawing through its library. Midgame mass counter distributors like Soul Snuffers, Carnifex Demon, and Black Sun's Zenith wipe opposing boards asymmetrically, while stax-like pieces like Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night lock opponents out of combat. The deck closes games via overwhelming wide token swings, persistent aristocrat drain from Obelisk Spider and Bastion of Remembrance, or an infinite loop using Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs.
