Cycle 15 by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Sliver Hivelord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sliver Hivelord leads a five-color Sliver beatdown deck. The primary plan is to ramp into Hivelord, deploy tribal anthems and evasive Slivers, then kill with one massive double-strike combat step. Secondary paths include planeswalker card advantage (Garruk, Jace, Chandra), token generation from Hive Stirrings, Sliver Hive, and Thrumming Hivepool, and one-sided board wipes using Hivelord's indestructible. The commander's role is protection rather than an engine: his static ability makes every Sliver indestructible, turning Blasphemous Act, Crippling Fear, and Kindred Dominance into asymmetric clears. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Hivelord's shield and the Sliver lords that convert it into lethal combat damage.
