Commander: Winota, Joiner of Forces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Winota, Joiner of Forces stax-combat hybrid that uses non-Human attackers to trigger Winota's ability, cheating Humans into play tapped and attacking. The primary plan is a same-turn attack chain: extra combat effects from Combat Celebrant, Raph & Leo, Sibling Rivals, and Breath of Fury create multiple combat phases, while Blade Historian and Angrath's Marauders multiply damage to lethal levels. A dense stax package (Archon of Emeria, Drannith Magistrate, Ethersworn Canonist, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben) slows opponents while the chain develops. Secondary lines include Rionya, Fire Dancer copying Combat Celebrant for a large number of extra combats, and Slicer, Hired Muscle as a fast, goaded clock. Winota is the engine: she is a repeatable battlefield-tutor that assembles the combo and provides the attack triggers.
