Deck overview

This Boros deck is commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser and focuses on generating an overwhelming army of Spirit creature tokens whenever cards leave your graveyard. By pairing rummaging and looting spells with self-mill, flashback, and continuous reanimation engines, the deck triggers Quintorius repeatedly to flood the board with 3/2 Spirits. Key value engines like Containment Construct, Conspiracy Theorist, and Squee, Goblin Nabob turn discard costs into pure card advantage while feeding the graveyard. Once a wide token board is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat via Quintorius's -4 loyalty ability, granting all Spirits double strike and vigilance, or through mass pump enablers like Cathars' Crusade, Hofri Ghostforge, and Moonshaker Cavalry. Resilient recursion pieces such as Sun Titan, Sevinne's Reclamation, and Serra Paragon allow the deck to rebuild quickly after opposing disruption, creating a potent midrange combat strategy.
