Oops! All Gandalf! (Rough draft) by MTGTarzan

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai legendary-Wizard spellslinger deck helmed by Gandalf, Party Guest. The plan is to flood the board with legendary Wizards, then leverage the commander's combat-step free-cast (X = twice your legendary Wizard count) to slam undercosted instants and sorceries. Redundant Magecraft and cast-trigger payoffs-Veyran, Voice of Duality, Adeliz, the Cinder Wind, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, Fiery Inscription, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Kykar, Wind's Fury-turn every spell into board growth, tokens, or burn. Primary wins are go-wide combat with pumped Wizards/tokens, accumulated noncombat damage, and huge free or discounted finishers such as Crackle with Power, overloaded Mizzix's Mastery, and Surge to Victory. The deck plays as a midrange value engine that snowballs once the Wizard count and a draw piece are online.
