Format: Commander

Commander: Koma, Cosmos Serpent

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Simic "sea monster" token-devotion deck built around Koma, Cosmos Serpent as an uncounterable, repeatable token engine. The plan is to ramp quickly into Koma, then multiply the 3/3 Serpent tokens he generates with Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor, and a dense suite of clone/copy effects like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Spark Double, Double Major, and Helm of the Host. The token army is converted into a kill through Craterhoof Behemoth or Return of the Wildspeaker, while Koma, World-Eater acts as a hidden backup commander in the 99. The deck also packs a solid draw package, six counterspells, instant-speed removal, and a one-sided board wipe in Whelming Wave. Its main limitation is a total absence of non-land tutors, making it a strong value midrange deck rather than a fast combo deck.
