Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Grixis midrange engine built around Sauron, the Dark Lord and Wraith tribal synergies. It leverages top-tier mana rocks and interaction to deploy Sauron on turn 4, immediately generating Orc Armies whenever opponents cast spells. Combat connections trigger the Ring tempting mechanic, rummaging away the hand for four fresh cards and buffing all Nazgûl. Supported by potent card draw engines like The One Ring and Mystic Remora, the deck maintains immense resource advantage while suppressing opponent plans through Orcish Bowmasters, Dauthi Voidwalker, and efficient free counterspells. Without compact infinite combos, it closes games through overwhelming combat damage and attrition.
