Deck overview

This deck is a Sauron-flavored amass/reanimation midrange list built around Sauron, the Dark Lord as a repeatable card-draw engine. The primary plan is to amass an Orc Army, attack to trigger the Ring, then discard and draw four cards, stocking the graveyard for recursion. Secondary paths are Wraith swarm with Lord of the Nazgul, mass reanimation with Living Death, and extra-combat beats with Scourge of the Throne. The commander is a draw engine rather than a combo piece; the alternate Sauron legends are value payoffs, not a hidden commander. The deck wins through attrition, hasted extra combats, and 9/9 Wraith armies, but has no deterministic combo and leans on board presence.
