Celes (No GCs) by isturite

Format: Commander

Commander: Celes, Rune Knight

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Celes, Rune Knight leads a Mardu graveyard-value deck that turns her enters trigger into looting, then reanimates and flickers high-impact creatures. The primary plan uses cycling lands and discard outlets to fill the graveyard, then brings back Archon of Cruelty, Rune-Scarred Demon, or Angel of Indemnity with Animate Dead, Reanimate, Necromancy, and Lively Dirge. Astral Drift, Astral Slide, Ephemerate, and Restoration Angel retrigger ETBs and protect key pieces. The deck can also win on the spot with Molten Gatekeeper plus Murderous Redcap and Celes, or with Molten Gatekeeper plus Felidar Guardian and Restoration Angel. Beatdown with Celes-triggered +1/+1 counters is the fallback. Pinnacle Monk // Mystic Peak is a modal creature/land, not a hidden commander.
